Former EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland and the US government settled a dispute over attorneys’ fees related to his testimony in President Donald Trump’s first impeachment in 2019, the parties told a federal court.
The parties reached an agreement Feb. 21 and will jointly stipulate to dismissal after Sondland receives the government’s payment, they told the US Court of Federal Claims in a Tuesday joint status report. The filing didn’t reveal the settlement amount. Judge Loren A. Smith stayed the case pending payment, according to the docket.
