Textron Systems, US Army Reach Deal in Drone Contract Dispute

Textron System Unmanned Systems and the US Army reached a settlement in their dispute concerning the performance of an unmanned aircraft vehicle systems contract, a contract appeals board said.

Textron’s appeals challenging the government’s bid to recover costs from the contractor are dismissed with prejudice, Administrative Judge Michael N. O’Connell of the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals said in an order released Tuesday. The parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment, and the terms of the settlement weren’t made available.
