Several construction companies are challenging the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ plan to issue multiple contracts for border wall construction, maintenance, and repair in Texas.
The Government Accountability Office’s docket shows that four companies filed protests of the procurement between June 28 and July 8. Decisions are due between Oct. 7 and 16.
The protesters are APC Construction LLC, LGC Global Inc., Southern Border Constructors, and Fisher Sand & Gravel Company.
The Army Corps hasn’t issued any awards, but intends to award five contracts on an unrestricted basis, and five contracts to small businesses.
