TekSynap Loses Protest of Alpha Omega’s NOAA Support Task Order

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reasonably awarded Alpha Omega Integration LLC a $63 million task order for operations and maintenance services despite a protest by TekSynap Corp., according to a GAO decision released Monday.

TekSynap failed to show that the agency improperly evaluated its bid weaknesses, specifically with regard to help desk services, the Government Accountability Office said.

The record shows that TekSynap’s proposal contained an “acceptable quality level” that fell short of requirements in the request for proposals, the GAO said.
