TechTrans to Defend $325 Million WMD Threat Reduction Contract

TechTrans International Inc. can protect its $325 million US Defense Threat Reduction Agency contract from Culmen International LLC’s protest, the US Court of Federal Claims said.

Judge Edward J. Damich granted TechTrans’ unopposed motion to intervene in a Monday order.

  • Culmen filed its protest at the court under seal Jan. 10
  • TechTrans received the contract under a procurement to support the Cooperative Threat Reduction program, which helps will countries reduce threats from Weapons of Mass Destruction
  • The government received three offers, according to a US Department of Defense announcement
