T-Mobile Loses Protest of D.C. Agency’s Cellular Procurement

T-Mobile USA Inc. failed to show that the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency in Washington is conducting a procurement for cellular services that is unclear about requirements and unduly restrictive of competition, the GAO said.

The agency, which provides probation and parole supervision services, issued a solicitation that unambiguously seeks voice and data services from a contractor that operates its own private network dedicated to public safety communications, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Tuesday.
