StraCon Services Group LLC can move forward with a $111 million task order to support the US Navy’s multi-mission helicopter program office despite a rival bidder’s claim that a personal conflict of interest tainted the award, the GAO said in a decision released Tuesday.
Island Creek Associates LLC didn’t show that StraCon should be disqualified because one of its subcontractors, Precise Systems Inc., employed an individual who could give StraCon an improper connection to a senior Navy procurement official, the GAO said.
