The US Army’s Special Operations Command must award Seventh Dimension LLC a contract to support field and situational training exercises or else issue a new cancellation decision that satisfies federal contracting rules, the US Court of Federal Claims ruled.
The decision to cancel and resolicit the $200 million maximum value procurement after Seventh Dimension emerged as “the last offeror standing” was improper because it wasn’t based on market research or similar evidence, Judge Matthew H. Solomson said Wednesday.
