Sparksoft Wins Protest of $34.1 Million Cybersecurity Task Order

Sparksoft Corp. showed that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services conducted an unreasonable personnel evaluation before awarding a $34.1 million cybersecurity services task order to Titania Solutions Group Inc., the Government Accountability Office said Friday.

The agency should re-evaluate the companies’ key personnel, perform a new best-value tradeoff analysis, and make a new award decision, the GAO said.

The GAO said it agreed with Sparksoft that the agency engaged in disparate treatment in its evaluation of the systems security officer position.
