SpaceX Ends Protest of Contract to Boeing-Lockheed Martin Venture

SpaceX withdrew its protest of NASA’s $148 million launch services contract award to United Launch Services LLC, a joint venture of Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp.

The Government Accountability Office docket shows that SpaceX, Elon Musk’s aerospace company, withdrew its Feb. 11 protest April 4.

A protester is not required to explain why it withdrew a protest at the GAO.

A decision on the merits was due by May 22, the docket had shown.

The docket also shows SpaceX added to its protest claims on March 25.
