Southwest Range Keeps $449 Million Army Missile Testing Award

Southwest Range Services LLC is cleared to perform a $449 million US Army contract to provide mission services at White Sands Missile Range, N.M., the GAO said in a decision released Wednesday.

Protester Trax International Corp. failed to show the Army unreasonably investigated an alleged organizational conflict of interest involving Southwest Range’s ability to review affiliated companies’ products, the US Government Accountability Office said.

White Sands is the largest open-air land test range in the US Department of Defense, which allows for testing and analysis of missile systems, conventional munitions, and unmanned systems.
