SLSCO’s Mexico Border Wall Contract Award Withstands Protest

The Army Corps of Engineers reasonably awarded SLSCO Ltd. a $789 million border replacement wall contract along the U.S.-Mexico border, the Government Accountability Office said.

Protester Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. couldn’t show that it should have received higher technical ratings from the agency, the GAO said.

Fisher Sand contended it should have received more credit for being able to perform without subcontractors, but the solicitation didn’t provide that bidders would get credit for that ability, the GAO said.

Fisher Sand also couldn’t establish prejudice from evaluation errors it alleged, the GAO said.
