Shimmick Loses Protest of Mahan’s $37 Million Illinois Dam Award

C.J. Mahan Construction Co. LLC is cleared to perform a $37 million contract for dam maintenance support services at Olmsted Locks and Dam in Illinois, the GAO said in a decision released Friday.

Protester Shimmick Constr. Co. Inc. failed to show that the Army Corps of Engineers’ past performance evaluation was flawed for relying on project Shimmick contended wasn’t relevant or recent as defined by the solicitation, the Government Accountability Office said.
