SAIC’s $95 Million Technology Information Award Survives Protest

Salient CRGT Inc. failed to show in its protest that Science Applications International Corp. improperly received a $95 million task order to provide technology information services to the US Government Accountability Office.

Salient raised several unsuccessful challenges to the award decision, including its argument that the GAO conducted unreasonable labor approach and past performance evaluations, according to the GAO’s decision, made public Monday.

The GAO typically considers protests of contracts other agencies award, but here, it was both the awarding agency and the protest decision issuer.
