SAIC Wins $112M Air Force Cloud Based Command, Control Contract

Science Applications International Corp. has been awarded a $112 million contract to develop Cloud Based Command and Control for the US Air Force Advanced Battle Management System, the company said Tuesday.

The company will deliver command and control to the Department of the Air Force’s Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management and Combatant Commands, according to SAIC.

SAIC will design and operate the Air Force ABMS CBC2 microservices. The first application will provide air defense capabilities to North American Aerospace Defense Command and Pacific Air Forces, said SAIC.
