RTX Corp. was awarded a U.S. Army contract valued at up to $2.09 billion.
Following is the text from the Defense Department announcement:
Raytheon Missiles and Defense was awarded a $2.08 billion fixed-price-incentive contract for low-rate initial production of Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense System. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Andover, Massachusetts, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30, 2028.
