Rolls-Royce, Dynetics Reach Settlement in Army Laser Dispute

Rolls-Royce North American Technologies Inc. and Dynetics Inc. have resolved their dispute over a contract teaming agreement to develop a vehicle-based high-energy laser for the US Army.

The parties filed Jan. 13 a stipulation of dismissal with the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Chief Judge Tanya Walton Pratt dismissed the suit in a Tuesday order.

Counsel for the parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Terms of a settlement weren’t made available.
