Rescinding Biden Labor Order Would Be Unprecedented, US Says

Justice Department attorneys urged a federal court not to take the “unprecedented step” of rescinding a Biden-era executive order that requires project labor agreements in federal construction contracts.

The US Court of Federal Claims doesn’t have authority to direct the rescission of regulations and executive orders under its bid protest jurisdiction, and therefore it must reject several contractors’ bids for a permanent injunction against the executive order, the government told the court in a Monday filing.
