Raytheon ‘Confident’ as Aerospace Megamerger Nears Finish Line

Raytheon Co. says it’s on track to close a transformational merger with United Technologies Corp. in the second quarter, after a pair of recent divestitures set the companies up for regulatory approval.

Final preparations are underway for the tie-up, and Raytheon is setting up new internal structures and choosing executives for the combined organization, said Chief Financial Officer Toby O’Brien.
