Putz Security AG can move forward with a contract worth about $193 million to provide the US Department of State with local guard services at its Berlin embassy and other locations in Germany.
Pond Security Service GmbH, the incumbent contractor protesting the contract award, didn’t show that the department unreasonably concluded that its proposal presented cost risk to successful performance, the US Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Tuesday.
