Planned Parenthood False Claims Act Trial to Begin April 16 (1)

The trial against Planned Parenthood Federation of America over allegations that the health-care provider defrauded Medicaid in Texas and Louisiana will begin April 16 in Amarillo, Texas.

The False Claims Act case—initiated by an unnamed whistleblower in 2021—will also have discovery completed on Dec. 4, Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas said in a Monday scheduling order.
