Philippines-Based Defense Contractors Eye US Military Expansion

Defense contractors will have more opportunities in the Philippines to win contracts as the US expands its defense relationships to counter China’s actions and influence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Vendors already providing goods or services to the US military have won $132.5 million from fiscal 2018 through fiscal 2022 in markets like facilities support, research and development, computer design, professional services, and building construction.
