The Defense Department met its 30-day deadline only half the time it was asked for a response to pending publication of oversight and audit analysis, according to a Government Accountability Office report released Monday.
Procurement-related topics were among the 21 reports DOD comments were delayed for, including the F-35 joint strike fighter program, Space Force satellite sustainment, Marine Corps posture in the Indo-Pacific region, software acquisition, information and communications technology supply chain risk management, directed energy weapons, and disaster response.
