False Claims Act cases related to pandemic fraud have returned over $100 million to the US government, according to a report by the Covid-19 Fraud Enforcement Task Force released Tuesday.
The Justice Department and US Attorneys have recovered these funds in more than 400 settlements and judgments, the report said
These cases include Paycheck Protection Program fraud, Economic Injury Disaster Loan fraud, health-care fraud, and agricultural program fraud, it said
