Panasonic i-Pro Sensing Solutions Corporation of America failed to show U.S. Customs and Border Protection erred in awarding Axon Enterprise Inc. a $13 million sole-source contract to provide an incident-driven video recording system that would expand agents’ use of body-worn cameras, the GAO said in a decision released Tuesday.
The agency reasonably concluded that only Axon could satisfy its security and data management requirements, the Government Accountability Office said.
It also reasonably decided only Axon could offer an all-in-one solution including camera, docking station, video management on premises, cloud-based application, and cloud storage, the GAO said.
