P.K. Management Denied Additional Costs in HUD Contract Appeal

P.K. Management Group Inc. lost its appeal seeking nearly $54,000 for inspection services payments under a property management contract for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, with a Federal Circuit ruling Thursday.

The Civilian Board of Contract Appeals properly ruled in August 2019 that the contract didn’t require HUD to pay P.K. for each individual inspection of custodial properties, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said.

The contract clearly covers routine inspections through a monthly fee rather than individual payments, the court said.
