Oshkosh Corp. was awarded a U.S. Army contract valued at up to $1.54 billion.
Following is the text from the Defense Department announcement:
Oshkosh Defense LLC was awarded a $1.54 billion fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract for the Family of Heavy Tactical Vehicles. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 19, 2029.
