Optimo’s Protest Comments Didn’t Reach GAO Docket System in Time

Optimo Information Technology LLC lost a protest of its elimination from the National Institutes of Health’s $50 billion IT procurement known as Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners, the GAO said.

This decision was released Thursdsay, the same day as a separate statement that the Government Accountability Office has sustained dozens of other protests challenging the elimination of bids, and that NIH should conduct reevaluations.

This protest was dismissed as untimely because Optimo’s comments weren’t filed by 5:30 p.m. in the electronic protest docketing system on May 22, the GAO said.
