An Oklahoma-based laboratory testing services provider violated the False Claims Act by improperly billing federal health-care programs and the state for unnecessary urine drug tests, the US government says.
Coordinated Care Health Solutions LLC, and its laboratory director, “received millions” of dollars from those programs by submitting claims for laboratory tests that weren’t medically necessary, federal prosecutors said in a complaint filed at the US District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. The state is also a plaintiff.
