Ohio Medicaid Fraud Suit Dismissed Following Parties’ Settlement

A whistleblower’s False Claims Act suit alleging that Complete Dental Care and its owner billed Ohio Medicaid for unnecessary root canals is dismissed following a settlement, a federal district court said.

Dentist John Kramer alleged that Complete Dental Care billed Ohio Medicaid for dental procedures that weren’t medically necessary or for which the individual who performed the procedure wasn’t properly licensed.
