NOAA’s $8 Billion Weather Data Procurement Withstands Challenge

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration can move forward with contracts it awarded under an $8 billion procurement to support weather data collection, among other services, known as ProTech 2.0, the GAO said in a decision released Friday.

Protester Manutek Inc., which wasn’t among the 21 bidders the agency selected, raised several unsuccessful challenges to the agency’s proposal evaluations, the US Government Accountability Office said.
