New York Racing Association Inc. secured dismissal of a whistleblower’s False Claims Act suit alleging it falsified a Paycheck Protection Program application to receive $10 million during the Covid-19 pandemic, a federal district court said.
Whistleblower Relator LLC didn’t adequately allege that NYRA misrepresented its employment numbers, or its need for the loan, to the government, Judge Eric Komitee of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York said in a Monday order.
