New York Presbyterian Hospital has agreed to pay $801,000 to resolve claims that two radiology practices improperly billed Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE, the Justice Department said Thursday.
The DOJ alleged that Radiation Therapist Associates P.C., and Leading Edge Radiation Oncology Services PLLC, improperly billed for images used in image guided radiation therapy treatments provided to cancer patients, according to the department.
