Navy’s Removal of Union Requirement Ends Airfield Protest

Environmental Chemical Corp. ended its legal challenge to the US Navy’s requirement that a contractor must have a project labor agreement to win an airfield pavement contract, because the Navy removed that requirement.

ECC filed Monday a notice of voluntary dismissal of its protest with the US Court of Federal Claims. The case is now closed after the complaint was dismissed without prejudice.
