NASA’s Human Landing System Among Top Priorities in Budget

Accelerating commercial development of the Human Landing System (HLS) — the spacecraft slated to send U.S. astronauts, including the first woman and the first person of color, to the moon — would be among top priorities in NASA’s fiscal 2022 budget request.

The administration is seeking $24.8 billion for the agency, $1.5 billion increase from fiscal 2021.
