NASA Outlines Expectations for Next Version of Broad IT Contract

Federal IT vendors can start preparing to compete for the next iteration of the multiple-award governmentwide advanced hardware and software contract following NASA’s publication of a set of pre-solicitation documents Friday.

Bloomberg Government estimates the maximum value for Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement VI will exceed $20 billion. The existing predecessor vehicle, SEWP V, has amounted to $51 billion since fiscal 2015.

The SEWP VI draft request for proposals outlines procurement categories and technical areas contractors will be expected to satisfy, including IT professional services in a small-business set-aside group.
