Mortgage Investors, Whistleblowers Settle VA Loan Fraud Suit

Two whistleblowers have settled their False Claims Act suit against Mortgage Investors Corp. and a company executive alleging false certifications to the Department of Veterans Affairs under a veterans mortgage loan program.

The parties filed a stipulation of dismissal on Monday with the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The filing didn’t disclose settlement terms.
