Medicare Fraudsters Owing $33 Million Barred From Property Sales

Corporate Management Inc. and other defendants found liable for nearly $33 million in a False Claims Act suit alleging Medicare fraud are blocked from selling property pending their appeals, a Mississippi federal district court said.

Corporate Management’s former owner Ted Cain challenged the court’s injunction forbidding property sales or asset disposal following the 2020 jury verdict.

Cain argued that the sale of a $2.7 million Mississippi property wasn’t covered by the injunction because it would involve action by a non-party entity.
