Maximus Federal Services Inc. dropped its protest of the US Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ $6.6 billion re-procurement for call center services after the agency canceled its solicitation, the US Court of Federal Claims said.
Maximus is “pleased” that the agency withdrew their re-procurement of the Contract Center Operations 1-800-MEDICARE and Federal Marketplace contract, the company said in a Tuesday press release. The early re-procurement would have forced Maximus to re-compete for the same services it provides under its current contract, the company said.
