Marine Corps’ Logistics Cancellation Hurt Competition, Suit Says

The US Marine Corps should reverse its cancellation of a logistics support procurement worth more than $100 million, instead of continuing to fund an incumbent contractor on a noncompetitive basis, MetroStar Systems LLC says.

The agency offered no rational justification for the cancellation, and should ensure a new contract award is in place before March when the incumbent contractor’s funding runs out, MetroStar told the US Court of Federal Claims in a complaint made public Wednesday.
