ManTech, Leidos Properly Axed by DOJ From $1.6B IT Competition

The Justice Department reasonably eliminated ManTech Advanced Systems International Inc. and Leidos Innovations Corp. from a $1.6 billion IT services contract competition, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims ruled.

ManTech’s inclusion of a labor pricing category in its proposal, that wasn’t identified in the request for proposals, was a material error that couldn’t be fixed by a clarification, Judge Nancy B. Firestone said.

ManTech conceded that proposing to charge the DOJ additional management and administrative costs violated competition terms, the court said.
