Mandex Inc. showed that the US Navy failed to conduct a reasonable organizational conflict of interest review before awarding Imagine One Technology & Management Ltd. a $58 million task order for engineering support services, the GAO said in a decision released Monday.
The Navy should conduct and document a new conflict evaluation, the Government Accountability Office said. If the agency finds that a conflict exists, the Navy should either determine what actions would be appropriate to avoid, neutralize, or mitigate the conflict, or determine if a waiver of the identified conflict would be appropriate, it said.
