Lockheed F-35 Full-Rate Production Seen As Late As March 2024

The decision on F-35 full-rate production could come as early as September 2023 after the jet completes additional simulator tests, Pentagon spokeswoman Jessica Maxwell says in statement

• Delayed simulator tests are designed to stress F-35 against most challenging Russian, Chinese threats
• Often-delayed full-rate production decision has been rescheduled several times with most recent date to have been March 2021 from April 2019
