Legacy EMS Keeps $6 Million Ground Ambulance Services Contract

Asteri Consulting Services LLC lost its protest of the Defense Health Agency’s award of a nearly $6 million ground ambulance services contract to Legacy EMS, the GAO said in a decision released Wednesday.

Asteri, the incumbent contractor, argued that the agency’s evaluation of Legacy EMS’s experience was flawed because the awardee was improperly credited for supporting special events of up to 50,000 attendees, and for supporting mass hurricane evaluations.
