L3Harris Technologies Settles Ex-Employee’s Retaliation Suit

L3Harris Technologies Inc. and a former employee settled his suit accusing the company of unlawfully firing him in retaliation for calling attention to another employee’s potentially dangerous conduct.

Ryan Johnsen, who worked as an operations manager at an L3Harris weather center, and the aerospace and defense contractor settled all claims in Johnsen’s 2024 complaint, the parties told the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida in a Monday notice. Neither counsel for Johnsen nor L3Harris immediately responded to a request for comment.
