L3 Moves to Protect $75 Million Helicopter Training Contract

L3 Doss Aviation wants to intervene in a bid protest challenging its award of a $75 million Army contract to provide helicopter flight training to student pilots at Fort Rucker in Alabama, the company told the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

L3 has a direct interest in the bid protest filed by System Studies & Simulation Inc. because the court could order a bid re-valuation by the Army if the protest is successful, L3 said.
