L3 Harris, Data Link Contracts Worth $2 Billion Survive Protest

LCE Newport Beach Inc. failed to timely protest the US Navy’s contract awards to L3Harris and Data Link Solutions, a joint venture between BAE Systems and Collins Aerospace, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Wednesday.

The contracts for Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System terminals and related services are worth $2 billion,, according to Bloomberg Government.

LCE Newport argued that the solicitation’s mandatory gateway criteria—used to determine whether a bid was acceptable—were unfair and unreasonable.
