Kropp Holdings Uncovered ‘Double Standard’ in Fuel Card Award

Kropp Holdings Inc. showed the US Department of Defense “prejudicially erred” in its AIR Card program award to Associated Energy Group LLC, the US Court of Federal Claim said.

The $24 million contract for the program, which allows for the procurement of aviation fuel at commercial airports, must be enjoined because the agency improperly accepted Associated Energy’s late proposal, treated the bidders unequally, and improperly assessed the awardee’s corporate experience and past performance, said Judge Zachary N.
