KPMG Wins Challenge to Air Force’s Data Preparation Contracts

The US Air Force should rethink contract awards for a cloud data platform, the Government Accountability Office said, agreeing with KPMG LLP that the service branch didn’t properly consider bid pricing.

KPMP challenged the procurement for what it calls “visible accessible understandable linked trusted subject matter export support,” or VAULT. The VAULT data platform is a cloud-hosted data-as-service environment that supports Air Force activities, such as logistics and intelligence, the GAO said.
