KPMG Drops Challenge to Deloitte’s $800 Million Audit Award

KPMG LLP abandoned its protest of Deloitte & Touche LLP‘s five-year, maximum value $800 million contract award to prepare Air Force financial systems for audits, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims said.

Deloitte received the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Support contract on April 17.

The court rejected KPMG’s request for injunctive relief on Sept. 6, finding that the Air Force reasonably concluded that Deloitte has no organizational conflicts of interest, and that its conflict mitigation plan was adequate to resolve any potential conflicts.
